A curse was laid on the river the Jukuns passed through to get into Igala Land. another Princess was buried alive close to the river. Fishes from the river were cursed to never get cooked so that the Jukun warriors won't be able to feed when they penetrate.

This river is located at Idah, Igala Land in Kogi State. Inachalo river can also be called "The uncookable Fish River."

Oguta Lake: The Mysterious Lake in Imo State.  Oguta Lake is a lean 'finger lake' formed by the damming of the lower Njaba River with alluvium which consists of clay, sand and also silt. It is the largest natural lake in Imo State, Southeastern Nigeria; within the equatorial rainforest region of Niger Delta.  The lake is 8.05km long and 2.41km wide. The water in the lake actually flows from Njaba lake. Two out of the lakes mentioned flow together but do not mix together. Once you look at the lake from afar you would notice that they do not mix. Muhammad Dan Yakubu,  known as  Muhammad Rumfa  was the  Sultan  of  Kano  from 1463 until 1499. His reign was characterized by wealth and opulence and signaled the rise of the Sultanate's commercial dominance in the region. Under the guidance of famed Berber Scholar,  Muhammad Al-Maghili , he was also responsible for much of the  Islamization  of Kano. In total, the Kano Chronicle attributed twelve innovations to him including; extending the city walls, building a large palace, the  Gidan Rumfa , promoting slaves to governmental positions and establishing the  Kurmi Market .
